We have our measurement assessment tomorrow. We've been trying to practice as much as possible, this week, to get to this stopping point but please, ask your child to show you their practice packet and if they aren't finished, which is about 2/3 of the class, they should keep working! We tried to make sure they completed a couple problems on each page so that they could ask any questions while they were at school. I told them you'd be asking to see! :)
We also worked on understanding our word study words by writing them in sentences or drawing pictures to recognize the difference. Some moved on to word games. For special today, we watched the 5th grade Musical-The Jungle Book. We also read aloud the drama in StoryWorks and continued our research and informational text writing.
